I'm not religious. But every time someone says humans created religion to control some lower caste just triggers me. Humans are inherently religious. It's encoded in social dna. You're never gonna eradicate it with more education. It's tied to the fact we are conscious beings.

the other point is , for every marriages of the prophet there were a reason behind that is not (sex) ,for example the prophet marry the daughter of a jew leader so all Muslims free the jew slaves they have (how can we enslave the prophet blood-related) , one of the reasons behind the prophet marrying our lady Aisha , was to show Muslims how close her father -and the prophet best friend and right-hand - which later on was critical after the Prophet death when Muslims choose the second leader , you have to know that marrying doesn't necessary mean having sex at the time of marriage and you should know that the prophet never had children from her , his only children was from his 40 yrs old wife our lady Hadija
