I remember a ranked game with my team (CK,Tide,Dark seer, Pugna and Lina) running over enemy team early game.

I asked them to group up and take towers, since the enemy team cant do shit 5v5 and the spectre didnt have radience yet. their response? "We need to farm because lategame spectre will destroy us"

And that wasnt low 2k or something, AVG 2.9k.

it's exacly as bws says, meta doesn't exist in 2k.

Its fvcking wrong That says 2k Will farm to 50 min. Back then yes now(7.00) they Pick ganking Hero And gank all the map without farm And Push 5 man without Aegis.
Their Carry still vulnerable to gank And supp is late to help

2k meta = 2-1-2 lanes, running around the map, everyone out of position, last team to get wiped in a 5v5 clash near the base loses

Invoker, TA, SF, etc are good but only when 5k players play them and are all most granted to snowball. Picking Invoker and getting a 20min HoM because you miss 1/2 of your cs isn't going to win games.

Slark is the best hero there cause 2k cant time their disables with slark's first.

It's not that meta doesn't exist. Every tier has their own sub meta. U see a lot of PA for example

What I'm trying to say that the bracket is just so fucked up that it doesn't matter what you pick
So much room to outplay, so yea, just spam your favourite hero

Earth spirit is the best hero to spam in 2k, long range initiation tool, he is also an excellent ganker, can save allies by using boulder smash.

You can win 2k matches with any hero that involves any coordination from multiple teammates to kill like AM, Morph, Bristle, and Alch.

@Happydonut, most likely since they dont wait for the duration of slark's first skill to end, and spams their disables on him while it is active, also do roaming supports even exist in 2k? so what i meant back then was picking a roaming support can have a great impact in the game.

@never give up!! He easily shut down, generally weak laner and considering most 2k players struggle to get 35 last hits @10mins in a free Lane. Picking heros with 20%+ higher win rates at said mmr is better choice.
