They really need to buff farming points next time around. You can literally get 1000 GPM and it will only give you 2 points. It should be 5 times as much at least honestly.

Because you are 4k. Bristle had Abyssal, which won't necessarily cancel BH, but it was THE only thing they can use to cancel it. Besides, he had refresher and none of them had BB at that point, so killing even one guy is a big advantage. They dived too deep for that BH though. I'm sure even without that save, they would all die afterwards.

It doesn't matter that much tbh. Group stage gives about 70% of the points anyway. Missing 1 day of main event is definitely not a big deal.
