Ive heard its dogshit and they really didnt invested much effort into "remastering" general community consensus on it: attempt to make quick moneygrab like Heroes mighty and magic III "HD". 
But hey if you are into that nostalgia trip, why not?

most people dont buy it because of 60 fps or improved lighting.
they buy it because of dedicated MP servers and revival of the original multiplayer community, which was the BEST.
Thats why i got it, i just want to chain backstab some nubs and then point down at their dead bodies disrespectfully, waiting for potential hatemail.
