Same happened with an Earthshaker who played with us. He got disconnected for like 6-7 mins. Came back and helped us win.
Why would they? Make pardons anonymous and at the end of the game like reports. I’m not going to pardon someone who abandons unless they’ve come back and done their best etc.
I’m not going to pardon a ragequitter for example.
All my abandons are where internet cuts out for +5 mins, I always reconnect and try to win afterwards though, shame that the system punishes me the same as someone who leaves immediately
If u disconnect and then come back before game is over u dont get abandon and low prio, true story +
Yeah i used to have a major problem with bad internet making me dc and abandon for no reason, but i would still come back and finish the game and do my best. Would have saved me a lot of time in low prio if this was an actual feature. Crap happens, you cant always control your environment, if a team wants to pardon their teammate, they should be able to 100%
Also make it the opposite way, we could vote someone who disconnected to get an abandon. Got few occasions when there is a player who disconnect for like 10 mins, then reconnects only for flaming team no pause when we literally waiting them forever, sells all of their items and feeding themselves to the enemy team
I mean the problem is their own connection, deal with it and don't blame other people for your own issue

I acctually disconnected alot of times and came back and finished after 5 min and i was not punished..

Probably better a thread on Reddit but instead of abandons automatically accruing, team mates should get the chance to vote it gets cancelled.
For example, the Rubick in my last game disappeared for 10mins but came back and tryharded for the rest of the game. If anyone asked the remaining 4 players if he should be punished I’m sure we’d all say no.
