Post from your main instead of a 22 game smurf if you actually want any useful insight.

Nope this is my account. I started playing differently and decided to be a hard support so i was wondering if on the right track. My previous account was just playing without thinking now i watched more pro players, roam more watched replay and i think it made some diffetence.

Hopefully based on my profile someone can tell me my current status if im on the right track or do i need to change anything.

Again, post your main account if you want someone to give you actual insight. 22 games from your first played game is not a big enough sample for anyone to help you.

well you're still in normal skill so any hopes of calibrating high are completely shot. don't new accounts get put into vhs like after 5-10 games if they're good enough?

regardless calibrating higher doesn't mean shit if you aren't actually getting better. I could calibrate 100 accounts all at different mmrs and my overall skill would remain the same, but the mmrs would all be slightly different because they would be dependent on how well I played in my calibration games.

say your mmr is around 2k and you calibrate at 2500 because you happened to have 7-8 pretty good games during calibration. are you any better of a player? probably not. if you don't improve you're eventually just going to lose games because the skill level is unbalanced and you're unable to contribute enough towards your team's weight.

"playing differently" doesn't mean anything. no one magically becomes a better player with quicker reactions and better decision making after 22 games.

you need to change your mindset. your mindset is that your skill is dependent on your mmr and not the other way around. i.e. calibrating higher will magically make your brain work faster because of a number on a screen, instead of "if I focus on improving myself as a player mmr will improve as a result anyway" even if the results are not immediate.

                  Well noted. Thank you!
