Pos3 bounty is actually really legit atm.
I usually go for the same skills early as u do, but skills and items not so much. Offlaner is NOT another carry. U do NOT need the attack speed talent most of the time lvl 15, hp is much better. Also i think deso is really situational: most of the time u should just go and build auras as the offlaner. I normally go for phase to vlads to crimson guard, sometimes medallion as well. Late game AC and BKB (and satanic if u did not go for the vlads) are great.
EDIT: oh and drums are good on him too ofc
You could just try him as pos1 (that should be fine this meta too), since u like to build so much dmg on him
the problem is that pos 3 has to initate the fight, and BH sucks at it. So of course you will think that your team is braindead... typical n00b player guide

Talent build: exp-attack speed-gold steal
Item build
Starting item: Tangox6 + stout shield + stout shield
Buy quelling, wand and boots. Regen consumable as necessary, priority use w to harass burn their carry regen, you're strong, you're not anti mage stop playing passive.
Next build is phase boots into drums into deso OR medallion, deso for more aggresive play (and if enemy teams are fucking stupid). If your item timing is correct you should win any 1v1, kill their support when they went for warding, kill their carry went they jungling etc.
Next if they smart buy bkb, if not buy satanic and whatever you already win anyway.
