Highest game impact award goes to... Spectre? in General Discussion

Don't get me wrong, I think Spectre is pretty decent but how is he number 1? I never hear people complaining about Spectre pub stomps and he is considered a throw pick in most tournaments. I just thought it was weird. Any light on the subject?

The game impact is measured by KDA, which is not really appropriate imho.
Heroes with map-wide skills like Spectre or Zeus get a higher KDA than most other heroes because of their Ultimate. Does that create a significant game impact? I don't think so ;-)

sigh, please do the world a favour and refrain from breeding.

Aight little twink. Might want to stack a bit more. The point of being a twink is to have a good WR.

KDA average for a hero is better used as a way to compare your score to the community at large. Its not a very good measure of hero vs hero. For instance Omniknight is the lowest at 1.84 KDA, but is nearly top ten on win rate. His "game impact" of saving people is hard to measure, but often turns most critical fights around.

Its most helpful to use the KDA and winrate averages to see which heroes you are playing well and which ones you may need to change your build or play style to succeed. For instance, if you win 60% of games on Warlock, that's just about average. But 60% wins on broodmother would be amazing. Or if you have KDA of only 3 on Phantom Lancer you are probably dieing to much. While KDA of 3 on Shadow Shaman means you are playing the hero far better than most people do.

^also depends on how you play the hero and which enemies are in the game, hence its not really good to compare your score from a single game to the community average, but rather your average over a number of games to the community average. Then again, the statistics here really don't mean shit. Saw a table the other day showing win rates of heroes in the Normal Bracket and the Very High Bracket. Now given the data that we have that ~83% of games are in the normal bracket, it wasn't surprising to see that despite a large difference in the win rates between some heroes in low-vh games, the win rates here reflect the win rate of the normal bracket. IIRC Wisp in VH games had a ~54% win rate, and ~45% win rate in the normal bracket. And on here you can see that Wisp has a 45.71% win rate overall

@Pzowned88, still trying to comprehend how you could not work out your initial question by yourself, how many times were you dropped as a baby?

Well if you must know English is not my first language and the phrase "Highest game impact" gets lost in translation as "Highest game value" so I understand how Spectre is top with his KDA but the title itself of "Highest game impact" makes no sense. If they called it highest KDA, then fair enough.

Relentless explained the difference in wording nicely but you have continued to be a useless shit.

It doesn't even matter what its called, the variables involved are all listed directly next to it. It clearly has three columns for K/D/A, it could be called bananafuckfacescrub instead of Highest Game Impact and it wouldn't matter.

So you believe Spectre has the highest game impact? Is that what you are telling me? If you don't then its labelled incorrectly. If you do, you are an idiot.

I don't think its possible for what I just said to get lost in translation. I think you are just dumb.

I thought my post was as relevant as the game impact statistic is. I apologise if you didn't understand my superior nuance.
