lv 1 of gyro's rocket barrage deals 330 damage. and ts's diabolic edict deals 400 dmg at lv 1 and 1600 dmg at lv 4. every of the heroes skills can be freaking imba, if you know how to use them. in the end it is about how you avoid your enemy's advantages and maximise your advantages, even creating them when you dont have any. it is about timing of entry and positioning and that is dota. your mentioning about the date of the article is irrelevant as a matter of fact
Sniper is squishy as hell, even very late game. PLUS, its a team game and sniper can perma bush (if he is damn farmed and lucky at that) only one person. I agree with Pudge's Sexy tits, op is whining again for no reason.
sniper is shit hero imo, he can easily be ganked in early stage of the game. He only gets scary if he get LOT of farm, which is hard becouse of his squishiness. No need for nerfing at all.
Playing against sniper?
get void, get a well placed chrono, catching 1 enemy hero, 4 allied heroes, and then ask sniper to seal the deal from his fountain
by the same logic, ALL hard carry should be nerf ed , because they are too powerful in the late game, given enough farm.
IMO, sniper is a bad hard carry, due to his squishness and most importantly, LACK OF A ESCAPE SKILL.
