I've never bought tickets for events that have ended, but I know you can still buy while the event is not over and I believe for a few days after it ends as well.
I watch most games on live streams or replay VODS. But you really do get lot more with the ticket. I love to watch important parts of the game from different player perspectives and slow down certain teamfights to 0.25 speed. Often I find that what I thought happened watching at full speed is not what really happened. One of the best things you get with the ticket is you can see what the pros are looking at. It is incredible how fast they can do even little things like check items on heroes. I usually cannot see the items in the 0.1 seconds a pro typically uses to check them. I need a good half second to process what I'm looking at before I click back. There are so many things you just don't see, can't see with just the shoutcast...for instance all the kills they miss.

Trying to watch a replay for Na'vi vs Rox by typing in the match number but it results in "Access Denied". Can I purchase a ticket to watch the replay or is it to late?
