I want my phoenix to look like a rhino. like srsly what kind of question is this..

If you read that thread, you'd know that Valve is planning to turn Phoenix into a human. I put a poll to strawpoll btw, so people without a dota 2 dev account can vote as well.

I honestly think that a Skywrath/OD similar style of hero would work equally well here.

So just a copy of Skywrath in red?
And OD doesn't have a humanoid face (or other humanoid attributes).

Actually OD is basically a winged centaur with a obsidian face....so man torso and humanoid arms/hands

It's already quite sad that the spirits are looking so much like humans with brown/green, blue or red skin. Weaver is so cool as a hero. Or Io. Or Puck. Or AA. And nothing goes over Jakiro. Maybe Phoenix can top Jakiro and friends, but for sure not with a human design.

Why the hell do they need to change their appearances so much...copyrights? That's definitely NOT the reason. I mean, just look at Invoker.

Make him stay a bird or if they really want to change it, instead of a Phoenix, make it a Garuda...which is basically the same thing, but Hindu.

@havoc, OD's torso has nothing in common with a man, he doesn't even have a neck/throat!! His face also is closer to that one of a Dragon/Dinosaur from the anatomy.
And his claws have nothing in common with humans really. Only 3 fingers. They are pretty exactly like Dragon/Dinosaur claws.
I suggest you to study some anatomy before you say OD has anything humanoid to it.
