Based on the enemies picks you could do a number of things..
Death Prophet
Invoker
Timbersaw
..or viper
My suggestion above gives you the ability to hold each of your lanes alone and gives you a decent push when you need it. Keeping in mind that when a 5v5 gets out of hand a "gg" gets called cause you can push a lot faster than a 3 man team so it may take some turtling and clever plays but the above 3 should cover most of your support/carry/push needs.
Avoid picking heroes that require farm as you will probably get punished or should punish any hard farming hero. The best lane you will have will probably be mid so make sure you have a strong mid hero/player (Invoker, Storm, Viper) and take the game from there.
It's hard to tell you exactly what will work and what will not as you will have to see what they pick-up and how you would like a game to play out so well...good luck.

Hello fellow players :)
Me and some friends have signed up for a tournament that will be played as 3v3 instead of the normal 5v5.
And I was hoping to get some good ideas for lineups and tactics?
So far I have come to the conclusion that all three heroes have to be strong laners and we properly can't afford to have any real support. I was thinking a full carry to kill enemies, a durable to push towers and someone with a stun and powerful nuke.
What are your take on it?
I hope to get a good debate up on this :)
