Sugar Show Dota 2 is a game, all things are virtual and for fun. With buying compedium you are supporting ppl that work for valve and dota 2. If you want compedium just cus of items or other shits than better uninstall game like dota 2 and play wow.
I bought it to sell the shitty items 1 year later. Sold the TI3 immortal reliquary for 25 euro...

I haven't see any profit at buy it:
Battle points < Rares drop rate is always low.
Loading Screen < You can't share it.
Arcana,championship, new game mode vote < Meh
Inmortal treasures < Rise your future new cauldrons!
Mini-pudge courier < Already have something like that in-game.
Others and base customisation < Seem to be a joke.
