Is something honestly overpowered that only a select few are able to use?
Overpowered to me is when everyone after 2 games can understand = Naga/radiance, Tinker, QW Invoker, DOom, and any other easy to use and quick to learn hero.
If Earth was super OP the community would work hard to pick it up and become at least average with it.
Instead OP comments rain in from people like you 0% win rate with him and .46 KDA from your 1 go round.
If Earth was in Captains Mode I do not believe he gets a ban before heroes being banned currently especially if you look at the way teams are winning he just wouldn't alter things unless they patch him to be able to yank people out of Void's ult or something.
i heard from some teams that they would play him as a support or at least try it out for sure
hes still fucking op. op = overpowered = heroes that are too strong. op =/= easy to use
theres a reason why top 5 winrate heroes are the fucking easiest ones so even braindead average dota 2 players can win with them (aba, lich, necro, omni, zeus)
e: as i recall even in his ultrabroken phase he had a winrate lower than 50% cos 2k mmr trash would try it out and couldnt even do the easiest combo
Yeah, earth spirit had like 90% win in top mmr, but he was the lowest winrate hero, even behind the brood before her insane buff
I have never played earth but I hate it when he's on my team and it's not just cus most players are bad with him. I don't think he fits the current meta. He's a tweener, not really a support, not really a carry, not really even a semi carry. His best quality is ganking other lanes when most people do pretty poorly. I'd just much rather have an offlane mirana or a mid something else.

And as Mark said ES can hit a pretty huge wall late game as far as his effectiveness.
Before I stopped playing him, like 3-4 weeks ago, I had 80% win in over 50 games playing as support(Games around high 4k/5ks). He is really strong and first ban material.

How does he not fit the big ult/teamfight meta with an aoe silence+ aoe stun + sinlge target slow + huge aoe dmg?
I think he's still good I played him only once and after his nerf and still got a kda of 12 with him, even I never played with, his ulti and free force staff are very goods.

But in 6.81b your actually @ less than 40% win rate and 2 KDA? In fact at what point were you ever 80% with him?

6.81. Like I said, I stopped playing earth spirit and the only times I pick him is to relax and fuck around.
I believe he is ban able I just don't see the way this TI4 has played out him being a first wave ban.
Hopefully they get him in CM next patch so we find out for sure.
