Take advantage of the hard camp near the safelane and use your midas effectively. Also use it to pull creeps in a 1v1 lane. Take advantage of the ancients being closer to offlane and stack them for your self/carry/mid. And obviously try to take advantage of Roshan as much as possible, therefore heroes that can easily take on Rosh are better on dire.

ooooooooooooooh i miss the earth shaker creep block into dire ancients. i used to abuse it so much ;(
I would abuse the smart way. Dont pull every creep wave pull every second creep wave so they wouldnt always react too hard.
sorry. all this talk about which side is better made me remember the good old days.

This might be actually true, playing from "bottom up" is better coz it feels more natural ? and less missclicks on minimap ? :D
