Lich is my favorite offlane. Ward the small pull camp and the lane will stay under your tower the entire time with sacrifice. Plus lich fits on like any team. Tide and timber usually do as well, but clock can get iffy if he blocks all your melee carries.
Also I don't like the idea of sniper solo off. If you can ward to prevent the support from coming over fine, but pushing the lane with shrapnel under the opposing tower leaves you really vulnerable to a disabler running behind the trees to get you. Otherwise you have to stay super far back and I believe you'll be out of xp range there.
