Just separate solo and party medal! Then party mmr can go all the way to immortal idc and both system will have normal distribution i guarantee. And it will satisfy both people with exclusive solo-only-matter mind and people who think party are important too. Everyone happy! Then by that i will feel like the enjoyment playing party again because i have medal at party who can go lv up rather than stuck at ancient 7 and make my all party games meaningless
Idk what yall are even fucking arguing about ngl. Medals are worthless. They represent your highest peak MMR in either party/solo and have little scientific bearing. I have 2600 solo, 4000 party for an Ancient III medal. I dont even play ranked anymore.

ah, I get this. so basically it's feasible to get to ancient for new account since valve lowered the mmr for ancient bracket.
btw, how the system will determine my party mmr if I never play party before? so basically I just need to party with high mmr player to get high mmr?
