also if ur losing hard theres no need to sit in fountain for 20 min till the opponents have finished farming. just abandon and leave

I remember when they used to still punish people who troll/leave in LPQ.. this is just stupid that they are letting people do this.

im playing sf in solo ranked and im getting es pickers, its just not bearable anymore after my second game
does it count abandons if i abandon during picking phase without picking a hero?
yea long ago I actually enjoyed some LPQ. They were fun and also very challanging. But now, people just leave the moment they think the other team wins.
It will say abandon in your match history if you leave without making a hero selection but you won't lose rating or be placed in low priority queue. I have done this a few times when I accept a match and a friend logs on and wants to group.
i dont know for normal but u can even pick a hero in ranked, press 'play', go into game and play the first couple of minutes. as long as there is no first blood u can leave without losing points or getting into lpq. the game will however be marked as abandon in ur match history.

It seems there 's nothing about abandoning game in the console command list here

by abandoning through console i just mean typing disconnect in console and then abandoning game. u cant just shut down the game and wait for the 6 minutes to run out, as first blood might occur before u abandon and the game will count so u will lose points.
alternatively u can shut down game, start it up again and then leave game but then again u risk first blood happening while u do that and game is gonna count.
on another note, i think lpq is gonna be back once server maintenance is over so enjoy it while u can.

u can abandon every game where u team has bad picks or someone on the enemy team picks es, slark etc = no stomps and much more enjoyable games overall
