Example of a verified pro(WinteR) I've played w/ http://dotabuff.com/matches/488013273 he's around 5.3k-5.6k MMR as shown in his stream.
And here's a non verified pro(Ysaera) http://dotabuff.com/matches/487769720 I have no idea what his MMR is tho. Never saw him stream. Only in tournaments. I was able to confirm his identity from his friend's list (WinteR's friend)
Pros usually have verified accounts. Tho some like DK.iceiceice purposely turned his dotabuff off. If your MMR is high enough, you've probably played with a few unverified pros. At 4.9k MMR, matchmaking will eventually put you in matches with pro players.
