I'd like to think there are a lot of ways to play him and it depends on what role you want to take.
Personally, I take the support role. I'm not usually the one initiating (although it can happen). When I don't, I make it a point to be as annoying and save as many of my team mates as possible. Hence, I like to stay back until I see an opportunity to go in and use my ultimate. It's easy to kite an enemy melee carry (Especially those with low ms or lack of blink abilities) with the skill set provided.
step 1. aquire a vice
step 2. place head between the vice.
step 3. slowly wind untill you no longer want to play earth spirit.
its pretty simple u stun with ur boulder thingie u pull boulders in for silence
u save allies with pull/kick
and u roll in/out fights when needed to initiate or retreat and obviouslee use ulti when ur in melee range at bunch of enemies
Play ES as a roamer.
You can do alot, basicly what you have to do is to roll in and try to hit them, its basicly like a hook, you need somewhat predition. Try to force enemies out of position.
