don't get homing missile past 1 point. if you're carrying, get more stats so you're more survivable and deal more damage. each point in damage is basically multiplied by 30 if you hit 5 heroes in 6 flak cannon attacks.
if you want to farm your ancients, just buy a sentry yourself and deward if you think there is a ward there.
their right click isn't very impressive, so I personally wouldve gone either MKB or satanic instead of butterfly. spectre's damage mainly comes from radiance burn, and cleave cannot be evaded. satanic + bkb would've helped if you got caught out which probably happened a lot of times, I mean there's a pudge and lion both with blink.
Ok so I had some spare time and watched it overall I agree with previous post:
1) U win lane only due to silencers great harass, you skill stun that u never use you dont use flak canon either or rocket barrrage (several times you could completly zone spectra out)
2)1st death u saw pudge hook previously as he only hooked u at second attempt u were standing too far out
3) 2nd death is just completly retarded u won killed 1 u pushing and u position urself 500 range infront of pudge and he simply hooks u and u die
4) 10-17 nothing interesting happens some attempts at establishing dominance, at 16 min u do great rotation get a kill and continue farm kudos
5) everyone leaves lane and so do you(why?) about 44 cs at 13 min and 70 at 20 min(lane was free most of the time and u were not there rather halfharted attempts at solo ganks), ur job is not to fight with ur team but to farm especially when they buy you the space to do so
6) 17 min huge 5v5 teamfight where you position urself on melee range infront of pudge and sven before u ulti.
4 people clump up REALLLY CLOSELY and u get rekt by lich ulti, u didnt even get of anything except for utli which did virtually no dmg 5man wipe for nothing
7) 2 min later you tp top take on wave of creeps and go mid again lich ulti off cd u clump up and u die
8)24-26 you run around like a headless chicken, u dont farm just follow ur teammates and push a tower that was on 200hp (25 min 100cs)
9) 26min u die again first time not ur fault you die
10)28min first time u realize u have a jungle ofc only when the entire of your team is already farming ur jungle, teamfight breaks out you clump up lich ulties u get rekt
11) 30 min bkb as first big item does not cut it
12) 34 min literally the stupidest move ever, I have no idea what you were thinking you failed hard. going 1v2 vs sven and superfat pudge just because u have new shining bkb doesnt cut it and its not even that they initated on you YOU RUN AT THEM , 52-27 at 36 point mark and I mark it as loss
Personal imput is that I dont think you understand gyros power. Hero is strong early game and late game but he is really bad mid game (that was the time you chose to fight). You go to fights without bkb and die over and over and over again. Instead of going to farm you just go back to ganking and die again.And even when you actually go to gank you dont even use ANYTHING besides ur ulti, literally. There was only 1 death that I found that was unavoidable. Going toe-to-toe vs sven and pudge with drums bkb is just plain stupid. If you just stayed in lane and farmed you would probably have around 30 min bkb+ MKB and could have carried the game. Dont pick a carry if you want to fight at 15 min into the game.

I felt as though the laning stage went fairly well, but it all fell apart in the midgame and I'm not sure why. there are a few things i can spot (like if i dodged pudge's first gank on me) but im not sure what else i could have done, it felt as though by the time i got my BKB to survive all the magic damage i couldnt survive sven's physical. Could any more advanced players point out what went wrong? Should I have left my team alone and not join in their losing fights and continued farming?
(FTR i did intend on using my HoTD to stack and farm ancients, but when i got it i didnt feel as though it was safe to, so i continued to stick with my team)
