there are slight advantages either side but none enough to make any difference to name a few dire has better jungling (radiant has the ledge splitting 2 of the camps) and rosh advantage
Radiant has better ancient and u can offlane pull and midlane pull also the safelane pull is easier
Radiant advantage 0-30mins
Dire advantage 30min+

it also depends on the patch ( Meta ) atm alot of people would say dire is favourite but back in ti3 radiant was all the hype

Ancient has both pros and cons
In pubs, Radiant has an advantage cause it takes teamplay do take advantage of Dire advantages, whilst it doesn't take anything special to the advantages Radiant gets.
Most people find radiant camp layout easier to pull. Ancients are more accessible. And you're facing top which most players prefer. And most players never try and rosh unless they are ursa/lycan or pushed all the way to rax in all lanes, which is dire's biggest advantage.
Interesting that people have different win rates on either side! I wasn't aware that people favored different sides .So most likely I favor the dire because I tend to go with late game strats/heroes?

What are the main differences between the two? I have 56.97% win rate on dire but only a 52.68% on Radiant. The main thing I see is that the Roshan lair is easier to get into on the dire team, but is that really such a large advantage? What does the radiant have to make up for it?
