I think blind pick would be awesome. Since dota doesn't allow mirror matches in ranked games, you could input a system where you can't choose a hero already selected. Attempting to select it would do nothing, this prevents duplicates from being picked and prevents counterpicking fishing since you put yourself at risk of losing 250g gold.
This part is really nice though; After the 0:00, people don't lose gold, they get a random hero and no bonus random gold.
I mean, if you wanted to take counterpicking seriously, theres always CM and CD mode.
^That's a really good idea, if blind pick is implemented, the only way to find out if a hero is already picked is trying to pick it yourself. Fuck syntax

if u don't wanna get counterpicked, pick tinker wait for every1 to pick, and then repick your meepo or what u wanted to play.
