I just go shadowblade but I've never been a fan of blink slark.

but would you recommend skipping midas if i go for the shadow blade?
blink on slark has been stealth buffed recently (dark pact no longer self-cancels it, so its much easier to use it for darkpact-blink combos in fights or just for farming), so i found it relatively smooth to play and very easy to farm and buy in the side shop, feels like in a good game you can have treads midas blink by the same time you'd have wraithbands treads and shadowblade, but you dont need to use the courier as much (just the blade of attack and midas recipe).

also blink is primarily used to initiate on the enemy backline that has full detection of the area (like a lion that will instahex you the moment you are in range with your shadow blade (of course outplayable by pressing Q the moment you've been seen), but if you darkpact-blink on him its another story.

though i think in my games i'd only want to go blink over shadow blade in like one out of ten games at most xD

midas to shadowblade is ok..i think you should always go for shadowblade..it force the enemy supports to buy detections..blink slark is not scary..

it's probably scarier when you already have something invisible and enemy is alrady buying sentries, dusts
if youre talking me specifically, then yeah, i should be going for shaow blade every game i suppose.

At least in my bracket, people are terrible at landing pounces, I can't imagine most people below 5k being able consistently land a blink pounce combo. Silver Edge is too good regardless, the bonus movement speed from it combined with your ult's bonus movement speed means you can easily reach max movement speed.

well, pounces arent too difficult to land when you use directional move command (i have that hotkey on space coz i main shadow fiend and slark, 2 heros its the most important on)
