I think one thread like this was created a few weeks ago and was deleted because nobody posted, so to prevent that I'll contribute.
Probably Viper and Warlock. Both of which are extremely boring to play, so that's why I don't go to them that often.
Oh, and on a side note, I always get carried when I pick Lion, 100% winrate on 7 matches with me not contributing a whole lot, so he's my lucky hero :D

The hero that is needed most to complete my team and counter as many heros as possible in the enemy team. Since I always try to win, this is my list of current played heros.
If I need to go carry I go Ursa/Lancer/Spectre/Slardar/Naix/BS
If Mid is needed I go Qop/Slark/Kunkka/Tiny/Viper/OD (hurts every int-hero and renders him uselss)
If Jungle is needed I go Doom/Ench/Ursa/Furion
If Offlane is needed I go Clinkz/BH/Weaver/Lich/Slark
If Support is needed I go CM/Lion/Lich/Tree/Veno/THD/Silencer
That are for me the heros I can make the biggest impact with. Slardar and BH are to Hurt invifags.
Thats enough to counter the most common pubpicks

Necro needs a nerf I think. I think if they made the cooldown on the heal a couple seconds longer, or changed the way Heartstopper works it would be nice.
Necro snowballs almost has hard as slark does. The problem is in pubs most people do not notice how buff the necro is getting til he is unkillable

Doom is arguably more fun to play than Lion, at least more fun to play than babysitting support Lion which is how I normally played him, so you can understand me not really wanting to spam-pick him.
Lol, After I realized I had like 5 wins and no losses on Doom I played him whenever it would work. Doom is incredibly fun to play.

Sampson i almost NEVER buy bottle on him, but the thing is that in some games i just like to have a little bit of extra mana regen, plus with bottle i dont need to invest so much points into his pasive, still i know that is meh on him. I think i only bought it in my last 2 games or so.

The thing about necro is his push power, when i group up with my team its so hard for us to lose a team fight because of how AWESOME necro is at fights, after that we just take towers and more towers, i really like phase on him, usually when you want to scythe someone that person is probably running away from the fight so i like the movement speed from phase, i always get mek sometimes pipe and i never get aghs. I focus on tanky items.

Man, I have such horrible luck with Necro. I used to get placed with far too many people who thinked he's a passive support hero (because he heals! hurr hurr!) and ended up with crappy 3 to 4 carry teams with little to no disables.
Oh wait, no, it isn't bad luck, it's the people who I normally stack with who for some reason cannot comprehend that Necro isn't a support. With my last Necro game, I vowed to never pick him again when stacking with them.
the only time i picked necro i called mid and got insta gang reported because "necro is support" etc etc etc

I did try to play necro suport once, NEVER again.
atum when that happens i just ignore my team, necro is awesome in mid fuck the haters. Now seriously if you show someone how strong necro can get usually they change they minds,
If carry: Slark/Troll
If mid: Ember Spirit
If offlane: Clockwerk
If jungle: I don't jungle :p
If support: Crystal Maiden/Rubick
Necro but I dont like playing him press Q win game. But I think also some of the idiot proof heros are waaaay too rewarding (ex Warlock, Viper and most importantly Bristleback) so any of those would count too.
Visage or Bristleback.
If this was few months/a year ago I'd say drow ranger because the global perma aura is funny.

what is your 'go to hero' if you want to win a match. Mine is obviously BH :P
